My name is Angela Payne and I have been driving for many years and teaching a variety of vehicle types to both provisional and full licence holders. I have Full Public Liability Insurance, Member of ADINJC, Member of RoSPA, Member of IAMRoadSmart.

I have been driving for over 30 years and teaching driving skills since 2007.
Fully qualified Driving Standards Agency Approved Driving Instructor (ADI) Grade ‘A’.
Qualified advanced driver at Masters Distinction level with IAM (Institute of Advanced Motorists).
Member of the Institute of Advanced Motorists.
IAMRoadSmart Examiner.
Gold Qualified Advanced Driver with RoSPA.
Former 4×4 and minibus instructor.

The car you will learn to drive in is a Ford Fiesta Titanium X Turbo with dual controls, manual gear box and comes with air conditioning.

How much does it cost?

Please see our prices page.

How long does it take?

DVSA recommend approximately 45 hours of driver training with a qualified driving instructor and several hours with either family or friends.

Am I guaranteed to pass?

I can’t guarantee you will pass first time. However, I will support you 100% with your learning journey and let you decide what is best for you. Remember FAIL means First Attempt In Learning.

What are the hours?

I recommend a minimum of 1 and a half hour lessons which allow you plenty of practice time. This is not compulsory, 1 hour or 2 hour lessons are available on request. I work between 0800-1800 hours every day.

What if I don't pass?

If you don’t pass. You can book another test online. However, you will need to wait a minimum of 10 days before you can re-take your test as learning needs to take place regarding the area the candidate was unsuccessful in.

What happens if I can't make one of the days?

I operate a fully flexible diary as I am mindful that people all lead busy lives and it seems to work well with all my clients.

Can I cancel and get a refund?

Yes you can cancel and a refund given as long as you have given me enough notice. Please see Terms and Conditions.

I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Angela’s tuition to learner drivers, or to people looking for pass plus or refresher lessons. She went above and beyond my expectations, confidently guiding me with a structured approach, but always flexible towards any requests I might have. At the period approaching my test I had to stop my lessons to assist my mum after a significant operation, which meant there was a big gap in between my lessons; Angela pulled out all the stops, and helped me pass my test first time round! Angela’s focus, communication, explanation, and patience puts her head and shoulders above most instructors in my opinion. I was the most nervous anxious learner ever. Angie reassured me in every single way possible that all would be fine, I told myself and fully believed I would just be one of those people who could never be able to drive . Angie proved me very very wrong. Anyone who has any fear of driving or even uncertainty on certain aspects of driving. The best advice I could give you is to get on board with her and she will teach you a skill that will last a lifetime. I'm so glad I bit the bullet and went for it. I've been driving for a good 7 months now and I honestly couldn't imagine my life without the freedom of driving It opens so many doors in life !!!!! I can not fault Angie in any way what so ever she did absolutely everything possible to give me the confidence I needed to achieve my goals.
